The Council's primary goal is to promulgate and publicize the months of May and June as National recognition periods to honor Mothers and Fathers.

Attendant to this mission is the ongoing emphasis on family, citizenship, charity, civility, responsibility and reverence. Honoring men and women, who portray and epitomize these qualities, honors America, our Council and our Membership. The Council's mission simultaneously focuses on maintaining and motivating a multi-billion dollar retail gift giving season celebration of parents, as well as designating a meaningful portion of its revenue to charities.
