FATHER’S DAY REGIONAL EVENTS PROGRAM GROWS IN 2008.

The regional Father of the Year Awards will be presented during May and June 2008 in the following cities: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Greensboro, Los Angeles, Nashville, Orange County (CA), Philadelphia, Phoenix, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Silicon Valley, Tucson, Virginia Area, Washington, D.C. & Westchester, NY.

Fathers who have attained success in their chosen fields, and have found the time to be role models in raising their children, will be honored. Our 2008 regional Father honorees will help raise funds for the American Diabetes Association. Our goal is to raise $3,000,000. For 2008 we will have added 1 additional city, in which we will honor deserving dads. In the past 5 years these “Father of the Year” Awards dinners have raised $10,000,000 to benefit our Regional charity partner, The American Diabetes Association.

The Father's Day Council and The American Diabetes Association have partnered to raise money for research, education and advocacy in our effort to conquer this devastating disease, diabetes, which affects over 18 million Americans.
